In this bicentenary Dickens year, I’m having my own modest Dickens-fest. As I’ve said before, every winter takes me back to rereading Dickens, though on the whole I tend to read my favourites which are mostly (but not exclusively) the later novels. This year I’ve decided to fill in some gaps. For some reason I’ve never read Sketches by Boz or Barnaby Rudge, so I’ll be reading them.
